Daughters: Analiese (Kevin) Siwik & Alyssa (Zach) Conti

Grandson: Cooper Thomas Siwik

Tom is survived by his loving siblings: Karen (Dennis) Palmer, Joanne (Victor) Glassford, Rosemarie Weinstein, and brother-in-law Jorge Ojeda. He was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews, cousins, and many extended family members, who will cherish his memory forever.

Tom was the beloved owner and founder of Demar Direct for over 35 years. He took great pride in his work and the relationships that he created with his customers. Although he loved his work, his greatest love was his family. Tom married the love of his life and soulmate, Maria (Ojeda) Deflorio, on October 31st, 1987, and they shared 37 years of love and devotion. They raised two beautiful daughters- Analiese and Alyssa. There is nothing Tom wouldn’t do for his girls. He was blessed with his first grandson, Cooper, for whom he would do anything. He loved his family and friends unconditionally. His happiest moments were spending quality time on vacations, the golf course, fishing, playing cards, and sitting in his chair watching sports. He also had a passion for cars. 

Tom’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, compassion, humor, and love. 

Services to honor Tom’s life will be held on February 26, 2025 at St. Francis De Sales Church, 135 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. 

Visitation will begin at 9:30am with a mass to follow at 10:30am. 

Luncheon to follow mass at Mambo Italiano, 748 Butterfield Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled veterans. As a proud Army veteran, Tom’s memory and service to his country can continue to inspire and support others through this meaningful cause.
