Sotiria Zimianitis

Sotiria Zimianitis, 78, of Chicago passed away on November 7, 2022. She was born in Greece on April 24, 1944 to the late Demetrios and Daphne Fotopoulos. She is survived by her children, Stamatia (Lendell) and Elias; grandchildren, Theoni (George), Alden (Jay), Stephanie (Corey), Damian, Julianna; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Sophia Sotiria; siblings, Katina (Stathis), Eleni (the late John), John (Maria), Vasiliki (Russell); and step children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sotiria was preceded in death by her husband, Demosthenes; former husband, Vasile; and sister, Christina (the late Haralambos). Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
