Paula C. Huffman

Paula C. Huffman (nee Hollenbeck) passed into the Lord’s Glory on Thursday October 31, 2024 in Chicago.

Paula will be greatly missed by her sons Jonathan L Huffman (Stephanie Credico) of Edmonds WA and Maxwell M Huffman of Chicago, IL; two grandsons, Miles and Felix; sister, Debi (Terry) Quinn; half-sister, Jennifer (Richard) Sarhaddi; cousins like sisters: The Damos Dames, along with her dear nieces and their children and many loving cousins, friends, Four Season Sisters and best friend Debi (Mark) Slater.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace Damos and Jack Hollenbeck, and former husband Mark Huffman.

Paula, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, touched many lives through BSF Bible Study, CS Lewis Fellows, NI Emmaus Community and by supporting her passion for encouraging artists in all media.

Paula owned and operated Medco Service Corporation for over 30 years, an independent histology and pathology laboratory. After retirement, she showcased her love for art in her gallery, Evlokia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:30pm at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 525 S. Church Rd., Elgin, IL 60123. Interment will be private at Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport IA. Visitation will be at church from 12:30pm until the time of service.
