Michael Wolf O'Connor

Michael Wolf O’Connor, 33, of Chicago passed away suddenly on Christmas Day. He was born in Chicago on June 18, 1990 to Michael and Valentina O’Connor. He graduated from Mt. Carmel in 2008 where he wrestled, boxed and wrote for the journalism team. Michael loved the outdoors, skiing, hiking, golfing and working out. Michael was a writer who knew how to make everyone laugh. He was a natural jokester who was never scared to push the boundaries. He loved his family and they will miss the times they traveled. His family will treasure the memories of traveling to Romania, Wisconsin and touring the west.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, George (Patricia), Maria, Martin (Anne); nieces, Destiny and Bryanna; and cousin to the Doyle family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Radu and Victoria Lupu and Charles and Margaret O’Connor.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 9am at Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Visitation will be from 9-11am before proceeding to St. Luke Cemetery for burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, 55 E.
