Maria “Mary” Pierropoulos, 89, born in Meropi, Messinia, Greece on December 4, 1933 to the late Apostoli and Panayiota Nasopoulos.

Beloved wife of the late Christos; Devoted mother of Antigone (Harry) Anastos; Cherished yiayia of Yanni, Christo, Penelope; Dearest sister of the late George (the late Soula), the late Dimitri (Anthi), Vasili (Roula), the late Athanasia (the late Peter), Georgia (Menis), Christina (the late Neil); Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11:30AM at Transfiguration of Our Lord Savior Greek Orthodox Chapel, 2905 N. Thatcher Rd., River Grove, IL 60171 (located inside Elmwood Cemetery.) Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until the time of service.
