Kelly Anita Britton of Hudson, NY passed away suddenly while on vacation with her family in Chicago, IL on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:11am. Kelly was born August 19, 1970 in Albany, NY. She graduated Syracuse University with a degree in Public Policy from the Newhouse School of Public Communications. Throughout her life, she made family wherever she lived- Lake Placid, Auburn, Saratoga, New York, and Hudson, NY, Taos and Albuquerque NM, Boone, NC, and Weston, CT. She loved and was loved by many. Her talents were numerous and included but were not limited to songwriting, singing, novel writing, screenwriting, and baking. She was achieving her goals in these fields until the end of her life. Kelly was constantly pursuing a higher spiritual purpose- something that imbued every aspect of her life. Kelly was married to Rob Fraboni, with whom she shared many passions and pursuits, particularly music. They lived a full life, with many adventures still to come. If asked, she would humbly say that among her greatest creations were her three daughters. She was so thrilled with her new role as a grandmother to Nina’s baby. She was so proud of Lucia and shared the passion of horseback riding, among many other special activities. She and Izzy were always the best of friends. She is survived by her husband, Rob Fraboni of Hudson, NY, her mother, Anita N. Hanaburgh of Johnstown, NY, her three daughters, Nina Pilar Kross (Jeronimo Jimenez) of Mexico City, Mexico, Isabella Theresa Kross of Mexico City, Mexico, and Lucia Amadea Fraboni of Hudson, NY, her granddaughter, her brother Alexander James Britton (Michelle) of Wichita, KA, and her beloved dog, Teddy. She was predeceased by her father, James G. Britton, of Watervilet, NY. Gone too soon, Kelly will be forever missed. We are all eternally grateful for the many gifts she shared with the world. Thank you, Kelly, for all of the love you shared with us. Kelly held a firm belief that having books and reading in the home is instrumental to a child’s success. For that reason, donations may be sent Book Fairies, 70 N. Main Street, Freeport, NY 11520 in her name, a wonderful program in NYC dedicated to this cause. A celebration of Kelly's life is being planned for May and more information will be shared as we have it.
