Harriet “Hari” Touras, (nee Gaitanos) age 80, born in Kalamata, Greece, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Costas Touras. Loving mother of George (Lynn) Touras, Nick (Jaime) Touras and Pamela (Gus) Andrikopoulos. She was also the proud yiayia of 6 grandchildren: Alexis, Zoey, Maria, Lia, Kosta & Yianni. She was the daughter of the late Nikolaos and Aliki Gaitanos; sister to the late Vasilios (Demetra) Gaitanos and sister to the late Souzy (Konstantinos) Papadimas. Visitation and funeral on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona in Chicago. Visitation at 10:00 am and funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 N. Milwaukee, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
