Giannoula Giannopoulos

Giannoula Giannopoulos, 93, of Chicago passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023. She was born in Kaliani, Greece on January 18, 1930 to the late Angelo and Antigoni Petropoulos. She was a beloved wife of the late Fotios Giannopoulos. A loving mother to Kyriakos (Giannoula) Giannopoulos, the late Antigone (John) Theodosopoulos, Aggeli (Drita) Giannopoulos and the late Yianni Giannopoulos. A cherished grandmother to Nick (Maria), Frances, Adamantia (Bill), Frank (Kathy), Foti (Antonia), Taki (Val), George (Vicky), Tamera (Charles), Arianna, Elena and an admired great grandmother to Georgios, Antigone, Katerina, Ioanna, Adriana, Yianni, Kyriako, Antigoni, Eliana, Andrew, Nikoletta, Jenna and Kyriako An aunt and a dear sister to the late Dino (Evangelina)Petropoulos, Theodora (the late, Mihali) Tsiaousis, Eleni (the late Stavros) Loukas. Loved and admired by all. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona St., Chicago, IL 60625.
