Georgia Michelle Loukas

Georgia Michelle Loukas, 45, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was born on June 7, 1978 in Chicago. Cherished daughter of Michael and Dr. Maria Loukas; Loving sister of Dr. Thanasi and Leonidas Nicky (Christy) Loukas; Dearest aunt/godmother of Michael and aunt of Pericles Loukas; Beloved niece, cousin, godmother, and friend to many both in the United States and Greece.

Georgia was full of love and had a flair for design. Her passion fueled her career as a successful interior designer that combined her love for contemporary and modern art. Georgia was devoted to her family and always a constant help and support to all. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone she met. She took pride in her Hellenic and Cretan heritage, and she touched many lives. Georgia will be deeply missed by all. May her memory be eternal.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5-8pm at Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11am at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Rd., Lincolnshire, IL 60069. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pancretan Association of America c/o Philanthropic Fund
