Freda Marinakos

Freda Marinakos, 85, of Willowbrook passed away on October 24, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Greece on April 25, 1940 to the late Antonios and Aikaterini Lemperis. Freda is survived by her daughter’s, Gigi (the late Ralph) Marinakos-Trulis and Kathy (Tom) Lemberis; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Angelos; siblings, the late Carol (the late Ted) Marras, the late Dimitrios Lemperis, the late Ioannis (late Garyfalia) Lemperis, the late Steve (the late Hellen) Lemperis, and the late Harry (the late Argiro) Lemperis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 4-8pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Funeral services and internment will take place in Greece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
