Colleen P. Cecchini

Colleen Patricia Cecchini, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, with her family by her side. Born on December 11, 1973, Colleen brought a vibrant energy into this world. Her personality and booming laughter would light up any room, bringing happiness to all those in her presence. She took great pride in providing her children with love, attention, and support, always ensuring their happiness and well-being.

Colleen's remarkable strength and unwavering spirit inspired all who knew her. Her courage and perseverance left a lasting impact on everyone she touched. Colleen's memory will forever be treasured by her beloved three children, Alexander J. Umana, Samuel E. Thompson and Emma M. Cecchini, who were the light of her life. Loving daughter to Patricia M. Foley, the late Ralph R. Cecchini.

Beloved sister to Tiffiny A. Cecchini, Francine M. Cecchini-Duerig (the late Roy E. Duerig), Maggie M. Holleran (Matt R. Holleran), Amanda J. Wieland. Cherished aunt to nine nieces and nephews. Her family will forever hold her in their hearts. In this time of grief, may we find solace in the enduring memories we have of Colleen. She will forever remain in our hearts, remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

In loving memory of our dear departed, we invite friends and family to join us at River Woods Funeral Chapels, located at 205 S River Rd, Des Plaines IL,60016, for visitations from 10am to 1pm. Following the visitations, a service will commence at 1pm, honoring the cherished life that has touched our hearts. At 1:30pm, we will proceed together in a solemn procession to Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, situated at 8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714, where our beloved will find eternal rest.
