Christ G. Kakaletris, 76, of Morton Grove passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 6, 2026 after a long battle with acute myeloid leukemia. He was born in Greece on September 22, 1949 to the late George and Paraskevi Kakaletris. Christ was a chef prior to retirement. He was an active member at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church and would work Greek Fest every year. Christ was also a handyman around the house and enjoyed fixing and renovating his home.
Beloved wife of Anastasia; Loving father of George (Brenda) Kakaletris, Voula (Marc Lynge) Kakaletris and Harry Kakaletris; Adored pappou of Chris and Alexandra; Fond brother of John and Chrysanthi.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 9, 2026 at 11am at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Ave., Niles, IL 60174. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park.
